Dr. Clofine is dual board certified in Gynecology and Holistic Medicine and has been practicing in Atlanta for the last 16 years. His practice focus is full range office gynecology, offered from a holistic perspective. Integrating conventional and alternative medical options, Dr. Clofine “Honors Women’s Wisdom: body, mind & spirit”. Dr. Clofine is an Osteopathic Physician who has completed a master’s degree (M.S.) in biomedical science, a one year fellowship specialty in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, a one year general practice Internship and a four year residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology. After delivering over 1,500 babies in Atlanta, and operating out of 3 hospitals, Dr. Clofine retired form hospital medicine in 2000 and now practices only out of the office.
Dr. Clofine is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Georgia Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Holistic Medical Association. He frequently lectures to physicians groups and the general public. Dr. Clofine cares for all office gynecology issues including annual well woman exams, pelvic pain, pap smear problems, female sexual dysfunction, endometriosis, infections, menstrual problems, uterine fibroids and PMS. Through his holistic approach he expands options of care by integrating conventional and alternative medical therapies. He specializes in the menopausal transition providing natural drug-free support programs as well as individualized compounded Bio-Identical (Natural) Hormone Replacement Therapy. Dr. Clofine also utilizes hands on healing via Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, integrating Energy Medicine and Stress Reduction (Mind-Body Medicine) into that care.
